Catherine Story, 56, Dies
Mrs. Catherine Nutter Story, 56, former vice president and secretary of the Preston Nutter Corp., cattle firm, died Sunday at 5 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes. She resided at 711-2nd Ave.
The cattle firm was established by her father. Her mother was known as the "cattle queen of Utah."
She served on the board of directors of the Neighborhood House and the Catholic Charities and was a member of the Catholic Woman's League, and the Cathedral Altar Society. She was secretary of the Town Club and a vice president of the Junior League.
Mrs. Story was born Dec. 2, 1909, in Salt Lake City, a daughter of Preston and Katherine Fenton Nutter. She married her husband Nov. 28, 1939, in Salt Lake City.
She attended St. Mary's Academy, St. Mary of the Wasatch and St. Mary's of the Woods College, Terre Haute, Ind. She was a member of the Visiting Nurses Association.
