Colette was a homemaker and farm wife as well as a loving wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. Colette enjoyed quilting and made clothing for her children when they were young. She and her husband, Ralph, took pleasure in travelling in their motor home and had travelled to every state in the continental U.S..
She is survived by three daughters, Norma Kessler and husband Leonard of Wendelin, IL; Joyce Iffert of Olney, IL; Donna Rennier and husband, Melvin of Claremont, IL; two Sons, Fred Bahl and wife Deana of Dundas, IL; Rick Bahl of Olney, IL; son-in-law Greg Geier of Greensburg, IN; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; two sisters, Bernadette Kocher and Theresa Kirk; sister-in-law, Lelia Rennier and brother-in-law, Marion and wife Melvina Bahl; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joanne Bahl; daughters, Marcella Bahl and Annette Geier, and grandchildren, Brian and Diane Bahl; sisters, Violetta Kapper, Scholastica Seiler, Catherine Hippler, and Christina Kocher; brothers, Frank and Ephrem Rennier, brothers-in-law, Robert Kocher, Andrew Hippler, Ephraim Kapper, Raymond Kocher, Hubert Seiler, and Donald Kirk, and sister-in-law, Matilda Rennier.
