Ruth M. Wells, 88, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008, at Regency Place of Greenfield. She was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Owen Co. to Cleotis E. & Stella E. (Fiscus) Collenbaugh. She was a homemaker, and had worked for RCA in Indianapolis. She was a member of Church of Christ in Greenfield. She is survived by 2 children, Phyllis (Dennis) Fiscus, Greenfield; Norman E. (Dee) Wells, Chrisman, IL; 5 grandchildren, Todd Wells, Jill George, Jana Trace, Denny Fiscus & Veronica Alotta and 10 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Lois Leichty, Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Edward Wells, April 23, 2006, 1 infant granddaughter and 1 sister. Funeral service Welch & Cornett Funeral Home, in Worthington 1:00 P. M. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008. Friends may call at Welch & Cornett 4:00 to 8:00 Friday and 9:00 A. M. Saturday until time of service.
Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.
