Ada Fellers Passes Away
The death of Ada Vivian Fellers of Hugoton is being mourned. She died at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita on February 26, 1991.
The homemaker and former owner of the Bob Mason Insurance
Agency was 72. She was born June 28, 1918 in Burkburnett, Tx. to Edward Curtis Moore and the former Nettie Hammon. The family moved to Borger, Tx. In 1925.
A member of the First Christian Church, she also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star in Ulysses Chapter 471 and the V.F.W.,Auxiliary in Hugoton.
Ada was widowed two times in her life. She first married Don McQueen in 1935. In 1949 she married Bob Mason. In 1947 she moved to Hugoton. On November 7, 1959 she married Carl Fellers who survives her.
Other survivors include a son, Glen R. McQueen of Hugoton; a daughter, Nancy Kay Walter of Olathe; a sister, Lena Anderson of Hugoton; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service took place Friday, March 1, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church. Rev. Max Johnson officiated. Freida Freisberg sang and Gladys Renfro played the organ. Lodge No. 471 and the Order of the Eastern Star presented a ceremony at the burial site at the Hugoton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Budd Anderson, Dr. Dale Lairmore, Bob Hamilton, Billie Starr, Calvin May and Bob Parsons. Pauls' Funeral Home made the arrangements for the service.
