"Lulu J. Brimmer, 93, formerly of Mt. Vision, died Thursday, Dec. 2 in Savannah, Ga. She was born on July 8, 1883 in New Lisbon, the daughter of Israel and Elpha (Brewster) Putnam Rouse. She married Alan Brimmer in 1909. He died in 1932. Mrs. Brimmer was a member of the Mt. Vision Bible Baptist church. Surviving is a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Beth Brimmer, Savannah, Ga., along with several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 in the Tilley Funeral Home, Mt. Vision, with the Rev. Edward Collison, pastor of the Mt. Vision Bible Baptist church officiating. Burial will be later in the Mt. Vision Cemetery. There were no calling hours."
