Mrs. Murphy was a neighbor who lived across the street from my parents. She was a very sweet lady,and I loved her very much. Mrs. Murphy and her husband, Arthur "Bud" Murphy adopted their son,Sidney,about the time I was adopted. Sidney and I practically grew up together. My mother and Mrs. Murphy went to school together at Spring Creek School. Mrs. Murphy is survived by her husband, son, and three grandchildren: Renee, Brian,and Michael. She had one great-granddaughter.
