Finnish musician.He started his career in the music industry as a DJ on the radio show "Rockradio" in Finland. In the late 1980's he formed a two bands, one called The Giddyups, and the other a successful group called Veeti and the Velvets. He had a brief part in the Finnish comedy film "Viisasten Kivi." In 1995 he married his wife Johanna and they had two children. Their son Sampo in 1996 and their daughter Saana in 2000. As a musician he released a number of albums includng "Mielenrauhaa,""Aika,""Kissanelama." He has sold more than 100,000 records,throughout his career. His last album "Sanasta Miesta" was released two monthes after his tragic death.

Together with his wife and two children, he died in the 2004 tsunami caused by the Indian Ocean earthquake.Their bodies were found in March of 2005 and brought back to Finland for burial.
