Mr. Burger was a lifelong farmer in Wells County and also loaded trucks for Kenosha Auto Transport, retiring in 1981 after 25 years of service.
Born on Aug. 19, 1920, in Antwerp, Ohio, he was a son of Martin J. Burger and L. Irene Troop. His marriage on June 12, 1941, in Yoder was to Le Etta M. Johnson, who survives.
Other survivors include a brother, Noel R. Burger of Deland, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
He shall be missed by all.
