Ernestine C. "Teny" Holman, 68, of the 3900 block of Sunstream Parkway, a homemaker, died July 10, 1995 in Norfolk.

Mrs. Holman was born in Martin County, N.C. She was a member of Holland Road Baptist Church and a nursery worker for 40 years.

Survivors include her husband, James L. Holman; three daughters, Joyce Ryan of Norfolk, Nancy Holman of Virginia Beach and Mary Matthews of Kansas; a son, James A. Holman of California; three sisters, Mildred Ward of Urbana, Va., Edna Harmon of Virginia Beach and Janie Owens of Florida; two brothers, Marvin Ray Craft of Jacksonville, Fla., and Albert B. Craft Jr. of Norfolk; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Witchduck Road, by the Rev. Rob Pittman and the Rev. James Bradshaw. The family will receive friends at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and at the home of Mr. James L. Holman at other times. Contributions may be made to Holland Road Baptist Church General Fund, 4881 Euclid Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
