Marine Lance Cpl. Kristopher C. Warren, 19, of Resaca, Ga.; assigned to the 4th Battalion, 14th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Chattanooga, Tenn.; died Nov. 9 from a non-hostile incident in Anbar province, Iraq. "He could talk to anyone. He was such a good kid, so full of life," said social studies teacher Justin Timms. He coached the soccer team that Warren joined his senior year to help him get in shape for the Marines. Nothing embarrassed him, not even the teasing of some of his bandmates after he became drum major. "He knew who he was," said Laura McElrath, a family friend. He is survived by his parents, Joe Warren and his wife Becky, and Robin Patterson and her husband Tim.
