Octavio N. Canales, 60, of Kingsville, Texas passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015. Octavio was born on August 9, 1955 in Kingsville, Texas to Octavio G. Canales and Adelina B. Canales. He served in the United States Air Force, worked for ExxonMobil for 23 years and currently worked at Texas A&M-Kingsville for the past 16 years. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church. Octavio was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.



He was preceded in death by his father Octavio G. Canales.



Octavio leaves behind to cherish his memories, his son Christopher J. Canales of Tyler, Texas, daughter, Crystal C. Canales-Varner (John) of Coffee City, Texas, grandchildren: Sadie Canales, Alexander Canales and Isabella Varner, mother, Adelina B. Canales, brothers: Daniel E. Canales (Vita), David E. Canales (Kathy) and Rene A. Canales, numerous nieces and nephews.



Visitation will be held from 5:00P.M. to 9:00P.M. on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Kingsville Memorial Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Martin's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Santa Gertrudis Memorial Cemetery.
