Angela Starlene Simmons Simpson, 53, wife of Gary Allen Simpson, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016.
Born in Woodruff, she was the daughter of Melvin Richard Simmons and the late Brenda Joyce Simmons. She was an employee of Lowe’s #3050 on Highway 28. Angie was a member of Lee Shoals Church of God where she served as a Sunday school teacher and loved to sing.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Simpson of the home; daughter, Danielle Simpson Fields and husband, Jack of Belton; son, Johnel Allen Simpson; father, Melvin Richard Simmons; sister, Kim S. Dickerson; nephew, Tot Dean; mother-in-law, Mildred Allen Evans and husband, Johnny; brother-in-law, Robert Simpson; sister-in-law, Billie Jolynn Chasteen; and step father-in-law, Billy Chasteen, all of Anderson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 27, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jason Montez and Rev. Ray Carver. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. The family is at the home of Danielle and Jack Fields, 1126-B Blue Ridge Avenue, Belton.
