Funeral services for Johnnie S. Gibson Sr., 60, who resided in the Westover community, will be held Thursday at 3 pm from the Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons, with Rev. Tom Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Mr. Gibson died early Wednesday morning at the Jackson- Madison County General Hospital after a heart attack. Mr. Gibson was born in Ashland, Miss., and had lived in this community for the past 32 years. He was a carpenter. On May 21, 1936, he married the former Opal P. Austin, who survives. Mr. Gibson was a member of the Westover Baptist Church
