Lindsay, Paul Crockett

Paul Crockett Lindsay, a resident of Tustin for 70 years, passed away peacefully on Friday June 3, 2016 in Irvine at the age of 79. Born at St Joseph's Hospital on May 9, 1937 to Ralph and Louise Lindsay, he moved to Tustin with his parents and sister, Dorothy, in 1945.

Paul attended Tustin Elementary and Special Education classes at Cypress Street School in Orange graduating 8th grade in 1953. As a young adult he received training and employment at Goodwill Industries and later with Elwyn. His favorite job was working at El Pollo Loco in Tustin's Larwin Square. An easy walk from his home in downtown Tustin, he made many friends walking to work each day.

Paul loved classical music and began collecting 78 rpm albums as a child. As technology changed, so did his collection as he quickly updated to LP's, CD's and DVD's. He also enjoyed bowling, continuing until only a few years ago. More than anything, he loved his sister, Dorothy. For many years Paul would take Dorothy to Disneyland for her birthday where they shared many happy memories together.

PauI is survived by his four nephews, Mark, Dave, Scott, Erick and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; and brother-in-law, Gary. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Elwvn (www.elwyn.org). Saddleback Chapel - Tustin
