Colusan, 73, Taken By Death Saturday Night At Oluf Jensen Home
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon in Sullivan Brothers Funeral Home for Mrs. Catherine (Katie) Myers, 73, a resident of Colusa for 39 years, who died suddenly Saturday night while visiting at the home of Oluf Jensen, near Arbuckle. Death was due to a heart attack.
Mrs. Myers, widow of the late George Myers of Colusa, is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Marie Harrison, of Cranmore, Sutter county; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Harrison of Klamath Falls, Ore., and Mrs. Margaret Dander of Stockton; two brothers, Henry, of Williams and Joseph Bruggman of Maxwell; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a native of Germany.
Mrs. Myers, twice married, was well known in Colusa county. She leaves many friends to mourn her death.
The Rev. Leroy D. Howard of the Christian church officiated at the services this afternoon. Interment was made in Colusa cemetery
