Macon, Georgia- Betty Adair Bissonette Rountree, 89, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, June 23, 2016.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:00am in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. John Brown officiating. A visitation and reception will follow in Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Betty was born in Byron, Georgia to the late Ralph P. Adair, Sr. and Marjorie Bush Adair and was preceded in death by her husbands, George Bissonette and James Rountree; son, R. Barry Bissonette; and brother, Ralph P. Adair, Jr.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed being a fulltime mother. Betty was a former member of Lynmore Methodist Church and later, Riverside United Methodist Church, where she was active in the choir, taught Sunday School and was a member of the Women of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ed (Brenda) Bissonette and daughter-in-law, Carol Bissonette; grandchildren, Jaime (Mark) Simmons, Kelly (Stephen) Rowan and Brian Bissonette; great grandchildren, Lilla Simmons, Major Simmons, Ande Simmons, Eve Rowan and Reed Rowan; niece, Lynn Roberts and two sweet aunts, Marian Thames and June Kosciuszko.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery have charge of the arrangements.
