Interment: Kingsville Cemetery, Detroit, Lamar County, AL.
Ms. Ballard was born January 13th, 1952 in Illinois, to the late Dwyatte and Minnie Sue Freeman Upton.
She is survived by children, Rachel (Adolfo "Cowboy") Reyes, Rebecca (Mateo) Gasper, Glenn (Wendy) Upton, and Dennese (Robby) Mcelroy; grandchildren, Casey, Cheyenne, Corey, Austin, Justin, Katelyn, Blake, and Brianna; 3 step-children; 3 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, Alan (Betty) Upton, Kevin (Charlotte) Upton, and James Upton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Lynwood Ballard; and her parents, Dwyatte Upton and Minnie Sue Freeman Upton.
