On Saturday afternoon at 2:30 took place the funeral of Mrs. Jeanette Meyer, from the home of her grand daughter, Mrs. Kniece, of east Plymouth. Deceased was born in Edinburgh, Scotland 90 years ago, and left the land of her birth to take up her abode in America almost 65 years ago. Mrs. Meyer was a devout Christian and a faithful member of the Presbyterian church. Services for the funeral were conducted at the house and cemetery by Rev. W. J. Day of Luzerne. The pall bearers were John Meyer, Arthur Meyer, Joseph Meyer, Robert Meyer, Sr., George Kniece and Christopher Deets. Interment was in Shawnee Cemetery.
