Julia K. (Staup) Mowers, 60, of Tremont City, Ohio, passed into the arms of her Lord at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, on Friday, January 13, 2012. She was born on January 8, 1952, in Montgomery County, the daughter of Bruce and Mary (Conrad) Staup.

She was preceded in death by her father, and daughter, Amy Jo Mowers. She is survived by her husband of twenty-nine years, Joseph Mowers, her mother, Mary, three sons: Adam, Tim, and Levi; two daughters and a son-in-law: Sabrina Mowers and Haley and Billy Jones, grandson, Jacob Mowers, and granddaughter, Khloe Jones, sister, Amy, brother, Jay, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a graduate of Miamisburg High School and Sinclair Community College, worked at Miami Valley Child Development Center (Head Start) for almost thirty years. She and Joe were foster parents in Clark County for twelve years, adopting five children. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church now Faith United Methodist, and she was a sister in the Eastern Star Neal Chapter #522.
