Chesapeake - Edna Mae Barlow, 88, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012. She was born in Lawrence Co., Tenn. and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Wynn. She is predeceased by her husband Willie Norman Barlow; an infant son, Julian R. Barlow; and a stepson, W. Norman Barlow III.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Christine Barlow (David Sampson); three sons, Albert G. Barlow (Karen), Jerry E. Barlow (Toni) and Kenneth L. Barlow (Barbara); a daughter-in-law, Patricia Barlow; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was the owner of Plantation Mobile Homes and a member of the Victory Chapter #16 Order of the Eastern Star.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Eastern Star or the Wounded Warriors Project.
A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at Greenlawn Memorial Mausoleum by the Rev. Frank Jennings. The family will receive friends at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.
