Nancy J. Bryant, 45 of Cambridge, passed away at Dorchester General Hospital on Wednesday November 8, 2006.

She was born in Virginia on September 9, 1961 and was a daughter of Lois Wilson Jasinski and the late George Arthur Bryant.

Her father passed away when she was quite young and she was raised by her mother and step father. Living in a military family she had attended schools throughout the country, and attended Colonel Richardson High School in Federalsburg. Nancy had made her home in Cambridge for the past 15 years.

She was a member of Soul's Harbor Church in Cambridge and had sung in the church choir.

On July 9, 2005 she was married to Harold Alexander. She had worked as a daycare provider for some years. She was stricken suddenly at her home on October 31 and was taken to Dorchester General Hospital where she passed way on Wednesday evening.

Survivors include her husband Harold T. Alexander of Cambridge, two sons Jason G. Bryant of Cambridge and Justin Lowry of Baltimore, her mother Lois Jasinski, her step father John Jasinski both of Cambridge, two sisters Carolyn Ashby of Virginia and Brenda Warland of Maryland, four brothers George Bryant of Virginia, Larry Bryant of Virginia, Bruce Bryant of Maryland, and Paul Bryant of Cambridge and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM at Soul's Harbor Church on God in Cambridge with the Rev. J. Edward King officiating.

Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Soul's Harbor Church of God on Peachblossom Avenue in Cambridge.

Memorial contributions may be made to Soul's Harbor Church of God, 718 Peachblossom Avenue, Cambridge, MD 21613.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge.
