Janesville--Beverly J. Lawrence, age 65, of 6714 State Rd. 11 West, died at her home Thurs. morning, May 20, 1999. Beverly was born in Janesville on March 20, 1934, the daughter of George and Dorothy Lawrence. She graduated from Janesville High School in 1952 and married Delmer Lawrence on Dec. 11, 1953 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker and assisted on the family farm. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are her husband, Delmer Lawrence; 5 children: Cathy (Bruce) Schneider of Janesville, Kim (Roger) Keller of Hayward, WI, Chris (Terry) McDonnell of Janesville, Michael (Anna) Lawrence of Beloit and Daniel (Kelli Hennig) Lawrence of Janesville; her mother, Dorothy Lawrence of Janesville; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer, Andrea, Kariann, Scott, Joseph, Katie, Aaron, Alec, Chelsey, and Troy; 2 sisters, Virginia (James) Tuttle of California and Muriel (Claude) Snyder of Edgerton; and her mother-in-law, Verna Nelson of Janesville. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, George Lawrence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Mon., May 24, 1999 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Garchow and Vicar Chad Ott, officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Center Township. Visitation will be held from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, at Henkje-Clarson -Holzhuter Funeral Home, 1010 N. Wright Rd., Janesville, and at the church from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
