William was a Farmer and a Carpenter.
Death Certificate states that he died of Brights Disease (Kidney Failure)
He was buried at Salem Church in Greenville County, South Carolina on June 6, 1918.
On July 21, 2016, I was in Greenville , South Carolina searching for his grave site. Salem Church no longer exists. It is now Salem United Methodist Church, in a different location. I spoke with a very nice lady named Carol. She was very helpful, she stated that there was 4 unmarked graves there at the existing church. And at the original Cemetery, it is quite a walk, because of road being closed off. The cemetery itself is infested with bushes and weeds etc. And very snaky , due to the enviroment of the Cemetery. Church members will be out there in the Fall, trying to clean it up. Then she will let me know whether he is buried out there or not. So soon, I might finally have an answer.
