Patricia Ann Tweedy, 77, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 4:25 P.M. Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Nature Trail Health Care Center in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born Tuesday, December 6, 1938 in Hutchison, Kansas to Harris W. & Edith (Gerdes) Willows. She married Charles Nathaniel Tweedy on September 8, 1964 in Warden, Illinois and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1980. She is survived by her children: John Tweedy of Mount Vernon, Illinois; Edith “Edie” Williams of Mount Vernon, Illinois; Ann Tweedy of Mount Vernon, Illinois; Grace Watson and husband Thomas of Mascoutah, Illinois; David Halfacre and wife Kelli of Mount Vernon, Illinois; Mark Dauderman of Illinois; and Kent Dauderman of Illinois, grandchildren: Elizabeth Halfacre; Amanda Watson; David Halfacre; Kristin Watson; Dakota halfacre; and Logan Halfacre. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. Her parents, husband, 7 brothers, and 2 sisters preceded her in death. Patricia was a member of the Christian faith, loved to knit and read, and had a great sense of humor. Memorial Graveside Monday, July 11, 1:00 PM, Smith Veterans Cemetery (AKA: Anderson Smith Cemetery) 5137 North Garrett Lane Belle Rive, Illinois 62810. Mister Marty Mills will officiate.
