Born Sept. 24, 1956, in Kokomo, he was the son of James E. and Betty L. (Foust) Walker.
Michael graduated from Carroll High School in 1975.
He was employed as a shipping clerk at Raytheon Co. in California for 30 years.
Michael loved music and there was not an instrument that he could not play. He loved to video. In his younger days he played in a band called Bridgewater.
Surviving with his parents of Burlington are three brothers, James B. Walker (wife: Jenny) of Burlington, Steven Walker (wife: Tammy) of Flora, and Bill Walker of Kokomo; a sister, Julie Clingaman (husband: John) of Logansport; nieces and nephews, Jake Walker, Elise Walker, Matthew Walker, Casey Glassburn, Levi Glassburn, Jessica Walker, and Erin Walker; two great-nieces and one great-nephew.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Burlington Cemetery, Burlington, with his brother, Steven Walker, officiating.
Stout & Son Funeral Home Neptune Chapel, Burlington, was in charge of arrangements.
