Lester Leroy Wing, 79, of Fort Smith died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, in a local nursing home. He was an Army veteran of World War II, a retired carpenter-home builder and a member of Trinity Nazarene Church.
Funeral will be 2 p. m. Friday in Woodlawn Memorial Park Chapel in Fort Smith with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by one daughter, Carroll Dickey of Fort Smith; one son, George Wing; three sisters, Margie McGarrough of Texas, Evelyn Kisner of Austin, Texas, and Vera Williams of Pampa, Texas; three brothers, Leonard of Eugene, Okla., Clarence of Sayre, Okla., and George of Altus; four grandchildren, Lydia Evelyn Harris of Pocola, Donnie Lee Barber of Fitchburg, Mass., John Lester Barber of Fort Smith and Brian Wayne Barber of Fort Smith; 14 great-grandchildren.
