HAROLD DEAN ROLAND age 69. a lifetime Atoka area resident.

BORN; April 20, 1937 at Post Oak, Atoka County Oklahoma to Eugene Harold and Eula Mary (Moran) Roland.

PASSED AWAY; Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Atoka Memorial Hospital.

AGE; 69 YEARS, 6 MONTHS AND 20 days.

EDUCATION; Harold attended grade school at Post Oak and graduated from Atoka High School in 1956. Harold got his Associate Degree at Conners State College and attended the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Academy.

MARRIED; Carolyn Seabourn at Atoka, Oklahoma on September 19, 1962.

OCCUPATION; Mr. Roland worked for Arvel Hall's Home Oil Company Service Station as a young man. He later worked for Monroe Allen Trucking Company and was a delivery man for the Ideal Bread Company and later retired from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety as a 2nd LT in the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Supervisor in Troop E.

CHURCH AFFILIATION; Mr. Roland was of the Baptist faith.

He was also a member of the retired Troopers Association and a member of Atoka Chapter #60 D.A.V... Harold loved being with his grandkids, going fishing and hunting, mowing his yard, going to the coffee shop, and watching football. He was an avid Oklahoma Sooners Fan! Harold served his country in the U.S. Army.

SURVIVED BY; Wife, Carolyn Roland of the home in Atoka.

CHILDREN; Cheryl Roberts and husband Wayne of Dibble, OK - Vernon Roland and wife Aleshia of Atoka, Ok.

GRANDCHILDREN; Ashley Sanders, Molly Sanders, Hailey Roland, Sophie Roland, Abby Roland, Daysha Nelson, Kaeley Roberts.

GREAT GRANDCHILD; Carter Sanders.

BROTHERS; Clovis Roland and wife Rita of Atoka, OK - Wayne Roland and wife Sandra of Tushka, OK..

SISTER; Fern Snider and husband John of Wichita, KS - Billie Crow of Atoka, OK.
