Virginia Alice Burleigh, daughter of Louis George Burleigh and Gertrude Zella Westlake, was born May 15, 1924 in Gordon, Nebraska and died April 2, 2003 in Gordon, Nebraska at the age of 78. She married Myron John Jacobson. She married Myron John Jacobson on August 13, 1947 in Rushville, Nebraska.Her son Dennis preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, sons Michael (Alison) Jacobson of Omaha, NE; Jared (Wendy) Jacobson of Gordon, NE; Douglas Jacobson of Gordon, NE; and Merlyn (Roberta) Jacobson of Gordon, NE; and daughter Barbara (Dan) Lyke of Wylie, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren Anne (Juan) Ramos; Charlotte (Jonathan) Jacobson-Peterson; Dawn (Larry) Lyke-Lawson; Danielle Lyke; Michael Lyke; Joseph Jacobson; Erik Jacobson; Denie Jacobson; and great-grandchildren Brooke Ramos; Ashley Peterson; Pierce Ramos; Cruz Ramos; and Avianna Lawson.
