Marguerite R. Collier, died Thursday, Sept. 30, at Naples Community Hospital. She was born in Alpena, MI on Nov. 5, 1919. Following Catholic School she attended Mundeleine College outside Chicago, IL. During the Depression she moved to South FL. After World War II she became an Interior Decorator for Mimi Jessup in Palm Beach. Following the death of Barron Collier, Jr., her husband of 21 years, she moved permanently to their Naples home.

She was the loving mother of Lamar (Cheri) Gable, Fran (George) Villere, Phyllis (Donald) Doane, Toby (Lewis) Keller Jr., Barron (Dana) Collier, III, and loving step-mother to Juliet C. Sproul (Edward Oates) and Dusty Collier. Also grandmother, to 19 and great-grandmother to Lucy.

Mrs. Collier was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, a volunteer for 'Meals-on-Wheels", a driver for caner patients, and was responsible for building 'Our Place" in Golden Gate for senior citizens. Through her generosity she held build Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine in Orlando. She is also responsible for building a medical/dental clinic in Medjugorje and refugee house.

At a later date a Memorial Mass will be said at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Naples. A Memorial Mass will be held in Phoenix, AZ Monday, Oct. 11.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory should be made to St. Ann's Capital Campaign, 407 9th Ave. S., Naples 34102, or to your favorite charity.
