Lyle Norem age 82, formerly of Williams died on Monday, July 4, 2016 at the Primghar Care Center in Primghar.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, July 8th at the Immanuel Memorial United Church of Christ in Alden with burial in the Radcliffe Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services at the church on Friday. The Surls Funeral Home of Iowa Falls is in charge of arrangements.

Lyle Dean Norem was born on March 18, 1934 in Radcliffe, Iowa, the son of Selmer and Bessie (Johnson) Norem.

He had served in the U.S. Navy.

Lyle had been a lift truck operator with Frigidaire, retiring in 1999.

Lyle is survived by his children, Melvin Norem of Sanborn, IA; Dean Norem of Rockford, IL; Carla Filloon of Ft. Dodge ; Robert Norem of Ocheyedan, IA; Walter Norem of Harris, IA; and Brian Norem of Lake Park, IA.; and a sister, Wilma Boheman of Branson, MO.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Bertha Borschel, Shirley Ellsberg, and Selma Pepperling; and five brothers, Leland, Gerhard, Joe, Sam, Burdette and Homer Norem.
