Mr. Ellis was a self-employed as a lawn mower.
He is survived by three daughter, Annie Ellis, Jennifer Ellis, and Christie Baskins, all of Savannah; a son, Larry Joe Ellis; three sisters, Mary Helen Franks, Brenda Becham, and Kathy Parson, all of Savannah; and a half brother, Brandon Maxedon of Selmer. Mr. Ellis also had seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Fri., Apr. 30th at Shackelford Chapel in Savannah. Burial followed in Adamsville at the Savannah Cemetery in Savannah.
