The most important thing in her life was family. Vivian was a devoted wife and mother, always willing to go the extra mile (in only Vivian style) to keep her family together "by any means necessary" because a "mother's love never dies"

Vivian leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Antoine (Alisha) Manning Sr. of Oregon City, Chanel Barr, Alexandria Barr, and Giovanni Barr of Portland, grandchildren, Antoine Manning Jr, Michael Manning-Booth, Sabri Manning-Freeman, Savannah Vivian Manning, Saydra Manning, Jasper Folden, Aaliyah Manning-Booth, Angelique Manning-Booth, two brothers, Willie Paul ( Michelle Manning) and Eddie Dean (Nikki) Manning , two sisters, Bobby Gail Perry and Pamela Robinson, and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death her husband Billy Joe Barr, infant son, Michael Angelo Manning, Parents Willie D and Pauline Manning, and sisters Mary Ann Johnson-Nettles and Shirley Ann Manning.
