In 1867, he commenced buying tobacco for Leadaman & Bros, and was now buying for Brenzl & Dormtyer of NY. He married, May 13,1874, Miss Ada Banks, daughter of William Cole Banks of Edgerton,Rock County,WI.They had two children - Willie R, born March, 1875 and Minnie K,born July 17, 1877.
