Gail M. (Richter) Caraway, age 76, of Caldwell County, died Saturday July 2, 2016 at home from a long illness. She was a homemaker and a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Perry Caraway and wife, Karen, Caldwell Co.; 3 daughters and son in laws, Shannon Carl, Caldwell Co, Trudy and husband, Tim Cox of Marion, Ky, Brooke & husband Jesse Sherrill, Caldwell Co.; 3 brothers, John Richter and wife Dianne of Fort Myers Fl, Charles "Bud" Richter and wife Dianna, of Fort Myers Fl, Kevin Richter and wife Lisa of McHenry IL; 4 sisters, Sharon and husband, Bob Trambly of Kirkland IL, Mary Lou Gordon of Virginia Beach, Va, Megan Richter of Belvedere, IL, Heidi Dosantos and husband, Mario of Virginia Beach Va., and one sister in law Patricia Richter of Belvedere, IL., 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wilburn "Bub" Caraway, her parents Elmer and Norma Richter, one brother Chris Richter, 1 daughter and son in law Pamela and William "Pat" Rushing, two son in laws, James "Jim" Carl and Mark Hamby, and 1 grandson Christopher Caraway, and 1 great grandchild Emily Caraway.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton, KY., from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at Morgan's with Rev. Lester Watson officiating and burial to follow in Morse Cemetery in Princeton, KY.
