Born in Moorestown, New Jersey on July 9, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Myra Atkinson Heulings. Since moving to the Oxford area in 1962 from Hempstead, Long Island, New York, she had been active in the work of The Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, The Talbot County Humane Society and the Oxford Library. She was also a member of the Tred Avon Yacht Club.
Mrs. Wright is survived by a daughter, Jeanie Wright-Tucker and her husband, Joseph of Preston; two sons, Geoff Wright and his wife, Louise of Preston and John W. Wright and his wife, Amy of Portsmouth, RI; three grandchildren, Stephanie Pelletier and her husband, Marc and John and Peter Wright and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Oxford Cemetery, Oxford, MD on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at 11:00 AM.
