Merrel Matthews, 93, of the Proctor Endowment Home, died there Tuesday, May 7, 1991.
Born Dec. 12, 1897, in Bartonville to Niles J. and Mary Ann (Weiman) Miller. She married Sylvester Matthews, Nov. 24, 1916, in Peoria. He died Jan. 20, 1961, in Pasadena, Calif. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, five brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one daughter, Renelda Fox of Sedona, Ariz.; and one son, Jack S. of Morton.
