Funeral services for Billy Gene King, 56, were July 16 in Old Galatia Church, Calico Rock, Ark.

Military burial was at Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Ark. Honor guard was by Alley-White VFW Post No. 52.

Mr. King died July 13, 1991 at Batesville, Ark.

He was a retired professional rodeo clown and a crane operator for Fluor-Daniels and Fish Construction in Borger.

As a rodeo clown, he had performed at rodeos all over the world including Calgary, Canada; Madison Square Gardens, Fort Worth and Kansas City, Mo.

He was a veteran of the Korean War, and was discharged with honors in December 1958, and was a member of VFW Post No. 1789 in Borger. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Taylor King of Borger; a brother, Howard King of Chanute, Kan.; five sisters, Sue Warner of Calico Rock; Esther Hardin of Kansas City, Mo.; Lois Fisher of Newport; Linda Strate of Holden, Mo.; and Betty Dowell of Batesville; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Paul McCarson, Larry Dowell, Dale Strate, Ralph Rand, Jim Moser and Paul King.
