Funeral services for R.E. "Bob" Womack of Humble, Texas will be held at Rosewood Funeral Home in Humble at 10 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the 2602 South Houston Avenue, Humble, Texas 77396 address. Internment will follow after the service in Rosewood Memorial Park behind the Chapel.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 8, 2016 from 4-5 PM for family members and 5-8 PM for friends.

Bob was born November 6, 1934 in Brookhaven, Mississippi to Colon and Sarah Womack. He attended college in both Mississippi and North Carolina on golf scholarships.
He met the love of his life, Mary, in Shreveport, LA in 1966. They married in Marshall, Texas on March 1, 1967. The pair enjoyed travelling around the world from1968-1981, meeting numerous life long friends in the oil and gas industry in which Bob held many sales and managerial positions with Dowell Schlumberger. They enjoyed living in Venezuela, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Scotland, Libya, and London while visiting countless others including Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Bermuda, etc.

Bob is survived by daughters Lisa Smith and husband Bob, Stacey, Susan, sons Mike Ford and wife Karen. He is also survived by brother Johnny Womack and wife Kellie, sister Gussie Ashley, grandchildren Anna, Chelsie, Emily, Michael, Spencer, Stevie, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by wife Mary, sister Emma Faye, son Randy, daughter Kathy, and both parents.

Pallbearers will include Bob Smith, Michael Kirschten, Spencer Crawford, Webb Britt, Sheldon Kothmann, and Michael Steffen. Honorary pallbearers include Bill Goetz, Jack Shelton, Jerry Richards, Pat Fitzgerald, Lloyd Marshall, and Hector Chavez.

The family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice in Bob's name.
