died Saturday morning at the home of his father-in-law,
Rufus Keeney, No. 29 Main street, West Hartford. His death
was caused by double pneumonia from which he had suffered
about eight days, having been taken sick on Friday, January
2 . . . Mr. King was born in East Hartford January 9, 1853,
the son of George Walter King and Julia (Burnham) King of
that town . . . Mr. King was married about eighteen years
ago to Miss Clarabelle Keeney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Rufus Keeney, who with three brothers and two sisters
survives him. The brothers and sisters are: Joseph H. King,
president of the American National Bank; J. Walter King and
Edward E. King of East Hartford; Mrs. John N. Bidwell and
Miss Annie King of East Hartford
