CAROLYN DIANE ABELL, 67, Lebanon, died Nov. 11, 2005, at Jewish Hospital, Louisville. Born Nov. 27, 1937, in Marion County, Abell was a retired nurse assistant. She was preceded in death by: a son, Steven Xavier Abell; parents, Louis Bertrand, Sr., and Mary Nettie O'Daniel Miles; a brother, Louis Bertrand Miles Jr.; a half-brother, Forrest Smith; and a half-sister, Virginia Smith. Survivors include: two daughters, Catherine Suzanne Wheatley of Largo, Fla., and Terry Lynn Wathen of Lebanon; and four grandsons, Chris and Travis Wheatley and Daniel and Alex Wathen. A funeral Mass was held Nov. 15, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Lebanon, with burial in the church cemetery. Father Chibundi officiated. Pallbearers were Freddy and Barry Smith, Chris and Travis Wheatley and Daniel Wathen. Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charge of the arrangements.
