Lyle K. Steffen
Lyle K. Steffen died September 12, 2006 at the age of 89. Born in Elkhart, Indiana on March 22, 1917, the son of Walter and Dora (Schinn) Steffen. He was a farmer and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Lyle married Christine (Mazur) Lee in St. Johns on November 22, 1978 and she preceded him in death on July 15, 1994.
Surviving is his sister, Phyllis (Lou) Stites of Williamsburg, MI, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Thursday, September 14, 2006 at the Osgood Funeral Home, burial at Ford Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends 4-7 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorials to Hazel Findlay Country Manor.
