Lennis P. Walker, 40, Kokomo, died at 10:28 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, at Seton Specialty Hospital. He was born Oct. 9, 1966, in Kokomo, to Frank David and Graylon Marie (Bolton) Walker. He married Yvonne R. (Timmons) Walker on March 1, 2002, in Peru.

He had worked at B & E Cab Service and also he had his Class A CDL license for truck driving. He attended Kokomo High School. Lennis was an avid NASCAR fan, Tony Stewart's No. 1 fan, and he loved his Pokey.

Survivors include his wife, Yvonne R. Walker; sons, Robert Daniel (Walker) White and Jasper Blaine Timmons, both of Kokomo; daughter, Amy White, Phoenix City, Ala.; son, Christian Timmons; and stepson, Michael Timmons, both of Kokomo; 14 nieces and nephews and 14 great-nieces and great-nephews; brothers, Leroy Walker, David S. Walker, and Michael A. Walker, all of Kokomo; brothers and sisters-in-law, Victor and Kim Walker, Kokomo, and Scott and Sandy Walker, Peru; sister, Rose LeJeune, Knoxville, Tenn.; sister and brother-in-law, Ava and Jimmy Lowe Jr., Kokomo; grandfather, Jerimiah Bolton, Hawthorne, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

In keeping with Mr. Walker's wishes, there will be no services. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Calling will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Friday. at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery "Chapel of Love Mausoleum." Memorials can be made to the AIDS Foundation.
