May 26, 1924 ~ June 30, 2016
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Judith Peters Zollo on June 30, 2016 at the age of 92 at Glenwood Memory Care in Vancouver, Washington, where she was loved by all. A special thanks to those who took care of her this past year. Her passing was peaceful with her son and daughter by her side.
Judy was born in Spencer, Nebraska on May 26, 1924 to Albert and Nata Bjornsen. She was one of fourteen children.
Judy was married to Raymond Peters on October 22, 1944 in Verdel, Nebraska. They later moved to Vancouver, Washington in 1956. Judy lost her first husband in 1978.
She worked for the Washington State School of the Deaf in Vancouver, Washington as lead dietician.
Judy married Bud Zollo June 3rd, 1988 after retiring.
She loved ballroom dancing with all the glitz and glamour, playing zilch and chicken foot, garage sales, and talking on the phone with friends. Judy also loved times with her family, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
