My Aunt Nell was such a sweet lady. We didn't get to visit her too often so I didn't know her as well as I would have liked. I do remember her always giving us popsicles. From a family book, I've read that she always opened her home to others and taught her kids kindness and consideration. If someone wronged them, she would tell them to consider the source and forgive; bitterness kept inside would destroy. She treated strangers like friends and was especially fond of teens and older people.

Aunt Nell was a member of Westwood Baptist Church and Chapter 143 OES (Order of the Eastern Star).

Her parents were Alvin Lee and Willie Attis (Martin) Summers. She married Uncle Joe, my mom's brother, on November 28, 1943 and they had four kids: Jerry, Jean, Judy, and Ginger. She was preceded in death by her parents and survived by Uncle Joe, her kids, six grandkids, a sister (Ann Sullivan) and brother (Ed Summers).

THANK YOU SO MUCH TO SWEET FaithHopeLoveKGB FOR HER SPONSORSHIP OF AUNT NELL'S MEMORIAL. YOU ARE A GENEROUS AND DARLING LADY. GOD BLESS YOU!!
If you have a moment, please stop by her memorials and leave a flower.
