She was a lifelong resident of the Crescent City and Pomona Park area, born to the late Arthur Baber Sr. and Georgia Mae Thomas Baber, and was a member of Union Bethel A.M.E. Church in Crescent City.
Survivors are her husband, Nathaniel O. Williams Sr. of Pomona Park; daughters, Gertrude Williams of Palatka and Cormelous Williams of Pomona Park; sons, Nathaniel Williams Jr. of Crescent City, Joe Williams of Palm Coast, Johnny, Eddie, Tyrone, Kevin and Casey Williams and Anthony Walker, all of Pomona Park; mother, Georgia B. Baber of Crescent City; sisters, Ida (Oscar) Rogers, Georgia (John) Hudson, Viola (Charles) Thomas and Hattie Barber, all of Crescent City, and Adele (Joe) Cobbs of Clearwater; brothers, Amos (Sandra) Baber of Pierson and James (Janice) Baber of Jacksonville; uncles, Marion Brantley Sr. and A. J. Lewis, both of Crescent City, and Jack Thomas of Seville; 18 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 29, at Union Bethel A.M.E. Church, with Rev. Zelma Holmes, pastor, presiding, and assisted by Rev. Mildred Motes as the eulogist. Interment will follow in St. Johns Cemetery in Seville.
