Elizabeth Marie Hall was born January 5, 1916 in Round Valley Custer Co, Nebraska to Peter Anderson Hall and Anna Marie Nelson. After the death of her mother on March 20, 1925 she traveled to Oregon to live with her grandparents, Nels Anderson Hall and Isabell Ingebrets Olson in Silverton, Oregon.She attended the Lutheran church in Silverton and was confirmed there. She graduated from high school in Silverton and married first to Felix Smith. They had one daughter Patricia. She later married Raymond Clayton Crook and they had Sterling, Harold, Phyllis, and Peter Crook. Peter died as a new born.
Elizabeth was a life long christian assisting to found a church in Dallas. She was the Hall family historian and recorded the journey of her grandmother Bell Olson Halls trip across the ocean to America. Elizabeth is credited with capturing all the family history and engendering in her relatives the desire to continue her work in genealogy. She was dearly loved and greatly missed at the family reunions after her passing. She is at rest with her husband Raymond in the Dallas Cemetery.
