A wedding reception was held in Quincy Illinois, at the bride's family residence. The honeymoon was in St. Louis, Missouri.

Teresa Grave had graduated Quincy Notre Dame high school. Arthur Brown graduated Quincy high school and worked for Comstock-Castle Stove in 1941.

Member of American Legion Auxiliary Numbers 8 and 40. Belonged to Eagles Auxiliary.

Mrs. Teresa Brown passed away 28 December 1996 in Quincy, Illinois. Her sisters Mrs. Margaret Averbeck, Mrs. Marie Browning, and Miss Adelaide Grave, predeceased her.

Reverend John Carberry led the funeral held at St. Boniface Catholic church, with interment at Greenmount cemetery, Quincy Illinois.
