Alyssa Anne Couch ended her world travels with her final journey to the Lord on November 15, 2006.

Her travels to Brazil, Ecuador, Mexico, Thailand, and Washington D.C. affirmed her devotion as a daughter, sister, and friend. She had a passion for her friends and family and an endless sense of compassion for everyone, anywhere. She also had a drive towards missions, volunteer work, and spreading God's love.

Alyssa graduated from Wapahani High School in 2004 and was currently enrolled at Ball State University, studying Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish as a junior. She planned to attend Purdue University to study Pharmacology. She tutored at the Ball State University Learning Center and worked at Walgreen's Pharmacy. She served on the Partners of the Americas Board of Directors, participated in the Pre-Med Club at Ball State University, and attended High Street United Methodist Church.

Alyssa is survived by her parents, William and Angela; her brother, Bruce; her grandparents, William and Winifred Couch; six aunts and uncles, Debbie Keesling (husband-Doug), John Barton (wife-Shirley), Don Barton (wife-Shirley), Teresa Patz (husband-Steve), Bryan Couch (wife-Sandy), and Rob Couch (wife-Beth); 16 cousins; her fiance, Craig Collins; special friends, Stephanie Marks, Amber Collins, Kendra Craycraft, Ashley Harris, and Brandon Greenwalt; and her pets, Aayla, Rosie, and Ty.
