Lee is survived by his wife; his sisters, Kay (Jay) Smith and Janet (Joe) McKay; his brother-in-law, Charles (Shirley) Vansaghi, Jr; several nephews and nieces; and his little Westie, Libby.
Lee was raised in Amarillo, TX and graduated from Texas Tech, where he earned a chemical engineering degree.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.
He was transferred from the Lonza Chemical Company in Texas to the Mapleton, Illinois facility, from which he retired.
