Married 21 MAY 1872 in Muscogee County, Georgia, to Thomas Jefferson WATT (his second wife - had married previously on 10 MAR 1853 in Muscogee County, Georgia, to Sarah J. KIMBROUGH). The informant for her death certificate was Fred A. WATT of Atlanta, Georgia.
Mary Jane Galer's list of person buried in the Old Cemetery section of Linwood shows: India J. WATT, widowed female, born in South Carolina, died aged 82 years in Atlanta, Georgia, of angina pectoris; interred 27 MAR 1927 by undertaker [Charlton Lafayette] TORBETT, reference local death certificate #2797A - Sexton W. B. MILLER.
This grave is evidently not identifiably marked. Because it is in the only WATT grave in the Old Cemetery section, according to the Sexton's record, and there is a large LLOYD lot in that section which has only one identifiable grave in it, there is a rather good chance that India is in that LLOYD Lot (see Section G, Lot 2, with "LLOYD" on step, in Dolores Autry's "Historic Linwood Cemetery" book, Volume 2, p. 107).
